Transitory Habitation and Public Space.
Palace for Dance
The project aims to capture a versatile, continuous, and fluid space using tools that respond to these same characteristics. The use of concrete slabs with the fluid language inherent in their most stable geometries, while also generating synesthesia in the perception of those who immerse themselves beneath them. The paradox in which concrete is arranged, in reality, in a manner that is more than stable and simple to execute, through simple modular formwork, enclosing a space tense and full of themes and hierarchies.
For this, it has been essential to understand the functioning of concrete slabs and the geometries they generate, while also understanding those generated by the program and the project, and finding that intersection point between the trajectories of both.
